High pollen counts make it a nasty spring sneezing season for many.

For Dawn Quiett of Dallas, springtime is guaranteed to bring sneezing, a runny nose, an itchy throat and especially congestion. But this year’s allergy season has been so “brutal” that her usual armamentarium just isn’t winning the battle.

“I would give a million dollars to breathe through my nose for 10 minutes,” says Quiett, 39. “I think I have bought enough Sudafed in the last month that the feds might think I am making meth.”

Rarely do assistant coaching hires make the news, but this one is just too interesting to pass up. Billy Donovan, former assistant to Rick Pitino, has hired Richard Pitino, the 26-year-old son of Louisville's head basketball coach. The younger Pitino has been an assistant at Louisville for the past two seasons.

The intertwined relationships here are quite unique. In the past, there has been speculation that one of the reasons Donovan didn't take the head job at Kentucky was due to his close relationship with Pitino. The two often talk about how they consider each other family.

WASHINGTON -- Cyberspies have penetrated the U.S. electrical grid and left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, according to current and former national-security officials.

The spies came from China, Russia and other countries, these officials said, and were believed to be on a mission to navigate the U.S. electrical system and its controls.
